About Us

Too many children in the foster care system lose their families, their rights, and their hope. Join our fight to make sure they don't!

Guardians ad Litem are court-appointed volunteer advocates for children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. These trained volunteers work to ensure that no child has to face the system alone - that his needs are met and his rights are respected.

Guardians ad Litem represent the child in court, making sure that her wishes are heard and her best interests are honored. They advocate in the community as well, following up with case management and service providers to make sure that their assigned children get the help they need. Most importantly, the Guardian ad Litem becomes a consistent adult presence in the child's life - a friend and mentor who sticks with them throughout the entire process, all the way into a safe, permanent home.
