St. Louis County Medical Reserve Corps
About Us
The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of volunteers, organized locally to improve the health and safety of their communities. MRC volunteers are community members stepping up to keep their family, friends, and neighbors in their community safe and healthy. MRC volunteers come from all backgrounds, including medical personnel and non-medical personnel.
The Mission of the St. Louis County MRC is to build and maintain a cadre of trained members from both medical and non-medical backgrounds, to respond to disasters, emergencies and planned events, which will strengthen and improve the health and safety of local neighborhoods and communities across St. Louis County.
The Vision of the St. Louis County MRC and groups under it is to engage volunteers to support emergency and disaster services already in place. The MRC aims to provide and promote equitable, trauma-informed skills and services to the community.
