The mission of the Seattle Animal Shelter is to foster safe, healthy, & caring relationships between people & animals in our communities. We provide a safe space for all pets in need by caring for abandoned, abused and homeless animals of Seattle.
About Us
Powered by your pet license, volunteers and charitable donations, the Seattle Animal Shelter adopted out more than 1500 animals into loving homes in 2017! We engage over 1200 volunteers annually who donate their time and skills by caring for SAS animals at the shelter and in their homes as foster care volunteers, promoting adoptions, community outreach and so much more!
