Bay Model Visitor Center

  • About Us

The Bay Model is an environmental educational center that until 2000 was used as a scientific tool to study tides, currents, salinity, and other water-flow aspects of the Bay and Delta. Park Rangers provide interpretive tours and programs to the public that offer a unique opportunity for visitors to learn about the geography, topography, ecology and hydrology of San Francisco Bay and Delta Region. We have a variety of volunteer positions that are suited for people just like you! Come and be a part of one of the largest working hydraulic models in the world.
