    Mission The purpose of the Medical Reserve Corps is to strengthen communities by establishing a system for medical and public health volunteers to offer their expertise throughout the year, as well as during times of community need.

    About Us

    The Galveston County Medical Reserve Corps (GCMRC) is a part of the National Medical Reserve Corps based in the Office of the United States Surgeon General. The Galveston County Health District is the host agency for the GCMRC.
