Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve

  • Mission

Here at Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, our goal is to connect communities with their environment through research, education, and stewardship. These three branches of our organization work together to learn more about Padilla Bay's ecological systems and maintain its health and biodiversity.

    About Us

Padilla Bay Reserve is part of a national system of 30 coastal and Great Lakes reserves around the United States. We have scientists, a laboratory, boats, and funding for research in Padilla Bay. We also have an education program with free classes and public exhibits with an aquarium, and a stewardship program which maintains our lands and waters.
