    The Contra Costa County Public Works Department provides for the construction, maintenance and improvement of infrastructure within the unincorporated area of the County and the Flood Control District. The department is organized to conform to the process of developing and building projects. Contra Costa County Public Works also manages two community centers and twenty one parks through out the county.
