  • Mission

To inspire people to connect with the Tillamook State Forest.

    About Us

The Tillamook Forest Center is an award-winning visitor center located in the heart of the lush green Tillamook State Forest. The center's exhibits and programs showcase the legacy of the Tillamook Burn and the public spirit behind the monumental reforestation effort which led to the Tillamook State Forest of today. Visitors can see, hear, feel and smell the power of fire through the film Legacy of Fire, climb to the top of a fire lookout tower, stroll on the Wilson River Suspension bridge and discover forest's wonders along the trails.
