Board Member Kelly Gonez is the youngest Latina ever elected to the Los Angeles Unified School Board. Representing the East San Fernando Valley, she sets policy for the second largest school district in the country and supports 130 schools in her district. Ms. Gonez has fought to advance equity, expand expanding college and career readiness, and work directly with families to strengthen public education.
