Rockland Cadet Squadron, Civil Air Patrol


  • About Us

    The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is an auxiliary of the Air Force but has no combat role.  CAP volunteers provide emergency services, aerospace education, and youth development activities.

    The Rockland Cadet Squadron has openings for volunteers with a broad range of skills and interests.  Previous knowledge of the aerospace field is not required. Our current members come from various backgrounds.  We are committed to diversity and welcome all ages, education, experience, and ability levels. 

    During the covid-19 pandemic we have been meeting virtually and are returning to in-person meetings but will continue to include online participation in our squadron meetings.  Residence in Rockland County, NY is not required for senior members (adults over 18).
