About Us
Our agency and staff are the premier advocates for older adults in the state of Wisconsin. Our Volunteer Ombudsman Program provides advocacy services for persons over 60 years of age that are living in a long term care facility. Our Volunteers serve to empower residents in nursing homes to speak up regarding their rights and needs as individuals. The Volunteers also speak for those residents that are either unable to speak or are afraid to speak up. A complete application is required, as is a criminal background check. Training provided and assignment at a nearby facility is achieved through the program.
