NJ Forest Service Jackson NJ

  • About Us

NJ Forest Service has a Visitor Center (FREC) and a Tree Nursery located in central New Jersey on 865-acres of forested land.

The FREC hosts approximately 1500 school children for educational programs on 8-miles of woodland trails. The Tree Nursery grows nearly 50,000 native trees yearly and distributes them to New Jersey municipalities and schools.

We need volunteers for agricultural work and trail maintenance.
