  • About Us

    The International Strategic Centre for Agri-Food Development (ISCAD) – a newly established organization under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan in partnership with the European Union, managing a large portfolio of loan funds provided through various International Financial Institutions such as the WB, ADB, IFAD and JICA - was founded to radically transform the agri-food sector and stregthen agri-food sector governance. The role of ISCAD is to act as an analytical think-tank, strategic managing authority, sector monitoring mechanism, focal point, reform driver and technical secretariat in order to ensure the coherence, coordination, effectiveness and efficiency of agri-food strategy and policy implementation throughout the whole policy.
