About Us

The Global Compact Office is the United Nations entity responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate citizenship initiative. It pursues two complementary objectives: (1) making the Global Compact and its principles part of business strategy and operations everywhere; and (2) facilitating cooperation among key stakeholders by promoting partnerships and other collective action in support of UN goals.

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is the UN Global Compact's initiative to promote and inspire responsible management education and research in academic institutions around the globe. PRME was launched at the 2007 Global Compact Leaders Summit. Over 350 management-related academic institutions from over 60 countries participate in the PRME initiative which is governed jointly by the UN Global Compact Office and other members of the PRME Steering Committee.

The Foundation for the Global Compact, a New York State not-for-profit with the mission to support the Global Compact Office, seeks to hire a consultant to support the PRME initiative of the Global Compact.
