Wood Ridge Emergency Squad

We strive daily to provide the highest standard of BLS pre-hospital care to those in need in the Borough of Wood-Ridge and our surrounding communities. Through continuous training and education, Wood-RIdge EMS provides cutting edge life saving interventions. Despite our state of the art BLS technologies, our most valuable assets are our members.

The Wood-Ridge Emergency Squad provides first aid and transport to the citizens of Wood-Ridge along with the surrounding towns. We respond to about 850 calls per year, including Fire Department standbys and transports. We offer free training, and an incentive to ride! We provide a unique opportunity to gain experience with Fire-based EMS, and interact with the Fire Department on almost a daily basis. Although we are separate entities, we operate under one roof and one board of officers.
