The WaterShed is a water and climate education center run by the City of Boise and co-located at the West Boise Water Renewal Facility. The River Campus, surrounds the education center with 2 acres of hands-on activities and water features. Explore the largest concentration of public art in Idaho, splash in the simulated Boise River, crawl through the pipe play area, and engage with nature play stations!
The WaterShed gives visitors a sense of place in the Boise River Watershed, highlighting the essential resource that defines the Treasure Valley. The exhibits, tours and programs also educate and engage residents on the importance of Boise’s Water Renewal Services, the city’s water renewal (wastewater) facility.
