Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site

  • About Us

The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, is one of our nation's premiere urban national parks. The park's two blocks preserve and interpret the neighborhood where Dr. King was born, lived, worked, worshiped, and is buried. Park volunteers work alongside park rangers to greet visitors from around the world and tell the story of one of America's most iconic and important leaders.
