    The mission of the HCPO is to provide institutional assistance, free of charge, to Holocaust victims and their heirs seeking to recover property which was lost due to Nazi persecution, including: (1) assets deposited in banks, (2) monies that insurance companies failed to pay policy beneficiaries, and (3) artworks that were lost, stolen, or sold under duress between 1933 and 1945.
