SOESD Early Childhood Services

Early Childhood Services ( ECS) is a program of Southern Oregon Education Service District. We provide services for children from birth to five years of age who have developmental delays and their families and who live in Josephine County, Oregon. Our staff of specialist in early childhood development and special education work with families to provide individually designed, family focused services. Our classroom environments and curriculum are designed to meet the unique developmental needs of both typically developing children and those with special needs We believe all children benefit from playing, learning and having fun together. We provide family consultation, speech and language therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy to those who need such services.

Our staff has a firm commitment to support parents as they help their child develop to their full potential, working closely with other agencies that are serving the family, teaching skills through play, and fostering friendships between all children.
