CITY OF AUBURN

Founded in may 2003, shortly after the Auburn City Council unanimously adopted the tagline "Auburn, Endurance Capital of the World(r)", The Endurance Capital Committee (ECC) was formed to make use of the tagline as described in the mission statement above. Our 6 to 10 City council approved members meet once a month to work on continuing projects and create new ones. Ongoing projects involve bringing our outreach tent and fun giveaways to several of the popular endurance events held in Auburn; selecting candidates to honor with Central Square's Endurance Zone's commemorative tiles; promote trail user group harmony; maintain an informative website with a comprehensive endurance event calendar, lists of endurance-related businesses and organizations, trail maps for hikers, equestrians, mountain & road cyclists, water sport enthusiasts, and more. All of our projects involve additional volunteers and we welcome you to join us!
