  • About Us

    The mission of the Syracuse Citizen Review Board, a nationally respected agency for the civilian oversight of law enforcement, is to facilitate a citizen-controlled process for the review of grievances against the Syracuse Police Department. The Board consists of 11 members appointed by the Mayor and the Common Council and governs all operations of the agency. In the past five years, the CRB investigated an average of 94 complaints each year.
