  • About Us

The Universidad Nacional de Agricultura of Honduras (UNA) is a public, non-profit institution created to educate Hondurans in areas that are critical to the national development of the country. It was founded in 1950 as the Demonstrative Farming School, later to become the National School of Agriculture, and finally in 2002, the National University of Agriculture. Our main objective at the UNA is to contribute to scientific, technological and socioeconomic development of the Honduran society. We place emphasis on the rural sector to educate agricultural scientists who are capable of contributing to the sustainable development of the country.
