About Us
Elected in 2019, Karl Frisch represents Providence District on the Fairfax County School Board. He is the first openly LGBTQ+ local elected official in the history of Virginia’s largest county. Frisch is working to invest in student success and safety, inspire future careers, promote environmental sustainability, advance equity and inclusion, provide responsible fiscal stewardship, maintain high academic standards, and support teachers and staff with better pay and resources.
