    The Summit and Medina Workforce Area Council of Governments (SAMWA COG) Board is comprised of Chief Local Elected Officials from each county, Executive Ilene Shapiro (Summit) and Commissioner Colleen Swedyk (Medina). Ohio Local Workforce Area 2’s Chief Elected Officials convene a meeting of the SAMWA COG at least once every calendar year, with additional meetings scheduled as needed. All SAMWA COG Board meetings are open to the public.
