    The Read to Learn Adult Literacy/Volunteer Program provides free basic reading classes and individual tutoring for adults in the northwest suburbs.

    Volunteer tutors and adult learners meet in classroom settings located in libraries, schools, and churches in the northwest suburbs. A professional educator is always on site to provide lesson plans, materials, and support for tutors and learners.

    Classes meet once a week for 2.5 hours during a 10-week semester.
