    The St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee is committed to the conservation, protection, safe use and enjoyment of Lake St. Clair for our current and future generations.

    About Us

    The St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee is driven by a passion for protecting and improving Lake St. Clair and its watersheds. We do many activities which require volunteers. These include beach clean ups, 1-94 ramp cleanup days (To prevent trash from being swept right to the lake), Bioswale maintenance days and an annual Nautical Coast Cleanup (Our biggest event of the year.) All these activities are done outside. The St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee offers scholarship opportunities for students from local high schools who volunteer with our committee and / or can demonstrate a passion for environmental causes.
