    The DC Criminal Code Reform Commission (CCRC) is a small, independent agency in the District of Columbia government. The CCRC’s mission is to develop comprehensive criminal code reform recommendations for the DC Council and Mayor. The agency’s work is focused on the District’s substantive criminal statutes—the laws that establish the scope of criminal conduct and authorize penalties.
