Worcester Emergency Management


  • Mission

    The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness in an all-hazards approach to each step of the emergency management process. CERT members respond to emergency calls within the City of Worcester as well as participate in a variety of community events for our constituents.

    About Us

    Worcester Emergency Management and Worcester CERT has grown exponentially the past two years, and we are looking for more volunteers to join our team!

    Priorities:

    • Provide emergency preparedness training and information to the Worcester community to build resilience in emergencies
    • Support emergency responses and recovery actions for large displacements
    • Provide mutual aid assistance to surrounding communities for emergencies and community events
