Irving Public Library

Library Mission The mission of the Irving Public Library is to improve the community’s quality of life by providing access to information for lifelong learning and by promoting the enjoyment of reading. City of Irving Mission Deliver exceptional services and promote a high quality of life for residents, visitors and businesses.

The Irving Public Library System consists of 4 locations throughout the City of Irving Texas. In addition to providing books and materials for check-out, the library produces monthly programs for all ages and provides adult learning through ESL, GED and computer classes. The Irving Library presents the annual North Texas Teen Book Festival, in cooperation with the Friends of the Irving Public Library.
