Emma S Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center

The Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (ESB-MACC) is dedicated to the preservation, creation, presentation, and promotion of the cultural arts of Mexican Americans and other Latino cultures.

The ESB-MACC serves a unique and vital purpose in our community. As Austin’s only cultural center dedicated to the promotion of the Latino cultures treasured by a growing number of Austinites, It reflects the heritage and dreams of this growing segment of our population, and shares the wealth of Latino cultural connections with the community at-large.

Through world-class programming and education, the ESB-MACC fosters a meaningful understanding and appreciation of not only Mexican American but also Chicano, and other Latino cultures.
