Mission
The California State Military Reserve (CSMR) is a defense force of the California Military Department (CMD). The 40th Support Command and its 8 subordinate Units’ primary mission is to support the California Army and Air National Guard (CANG) in their military missions and the State of California during times of state emergency. We are a diverse volunteer force composed of individuals of all ages and with or without prior military service experience.
About Us
The 40 th Support Command and its 8 subordinate Units are now recruiting. We are currently looking for civilian and prior-service individuals skilled in Administration, Logistics, Operations, Medical, Disaster Response, Civil Support, Search & Rescue, Transportation, and Aviation. We drill monthly at several locations throughout Los Angeles, Riverside, Fresno, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties. Individuals who are highly-motivated and committed to volunteer their time in a professional and military environment are encouraged to apply.
