    SHINE empowers Florida's seniors and their representatives to reach informed decisions regarding health insurance, long term care planning and prescription assistance by offering individual counseling and group presentations. these free and unbiased services are provided through a network of volunteers who maintain respect for privacy and personal needs of all served.

    About Us

    SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is an award-winning statewide volunteer-based program that empowers Medicare beneficiaries, their caregivers and/or family members to make informed decisions about Medicare and other health insurance issues, including prescription assistance programs. SHINE also provides assistance and information regarding long term care insuranceand planning, and drug plan or health plan comparisons.
