    Alaskans helping Alaskans ​get more out of their Medicare Our small Anchorage staff and statewide network of counselors offer one-on-one counseling to Medicare beneficiaries and their families tips on how to spot and report Medicare errors, waste and fraud classes on Medicare.

    The goal of Alaska Medicare Information Office is to counsel, educate, and empower Alaskans to make informed Medicare and other health insurance-related decisions. In order to achieve this goal, we recruit and train volunteers to fill the following roles.
