About Us

The Division for the Visually Impaired is Delaware’s oldest state agency, serving citizens who are visually impaired for over 100 years.

The organization provides services to people from birth to adulthood. DVI works in part with the community to improve the safety, education and employment of individuals who are visually impaired. Some of the services that we administer include education, rehabilitation, independent living, assistive technology training, mobility training, and employment programs.
