    We attempt to foster justice and equality for all people who live or visit Des Moines by creating an atmosphere of opportunity regardless of: Age, Race, Color, Creed, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Ancestry, National Origin, Physical and Mental Disability or Family Status

    Responsibility:

    We collaborate with Federal, State, and local organizations to:

    - Increase awareness and enforce the laws regarding discrimination. - Initiate, receive, hear and investigate complaints of discrimination. - Provide Human Rights education/training to business and community groups.
