The Workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum creates advocates of history through the stories of greater Los Angeles.

    About Us

The Homestead Museum features the Workman House, a Victorian-era country house constructed around an 1840s adobe; La Casa Nueva, a 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival Mansion noted for its architectural crafts; and El Campo Santo, one of the oldest private cemeteries in the region. Tours of the houses are guided, while tours of El Campo Santo are self-guided.

Free, guided tours are offered Wednesdays through Sundays, at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Tours of the Workman House are given at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. and La Casa Nueva tours are scheduled for 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Spanish only tours are given the second Sunday of each month at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Group tours for 10 or more people are available seven days a week by appointment.
