About Us

The Palestinian Center for Education and Cultural Exchange – Go Palestine was established to meet the cultural, social, and educational needs of the Palestinian Community. The Center offers educational and community services to its Palestinian population through a diverse international staff. Through tutoring and educational programs the Center promotes unyielding support to Palestinian youth.

The Center acts as a meeting point for all the internationals who come from every corner of the world in order to immerse themselves in Palestinian culture, and to become acquainted with Palestinian daily life. Our international interns and volunteers teach Palestinian youth and more mature Palestinian community members about their own home cultures, thereby gaining valuable experience and knowledge for themselves. It is a true cultural exchange.

Our Hebron Center offers English, Turkish, and Hebrew language courses to Palestinians of all ages, beginning with children who are 7 years old. The Center provides social and educational activities that aim to entertain and educate; these activities will enhance the life and professional skills of the mature community members in Hebron.

The Center offers international volunteer and internship programs that are created to teach aspects of life in Palestine. These programs include topics such as media, law, refugees, culture, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Islamic culture, human rights, children’s issues, and education to name a few. In addition, the Center offers Hebrew and Arabic intensive and non-intensive language courses commencing at the beginner level and culminating in an advanced course. These courses are taught by qualified teachers who are holders of academic degrees in Arabic and Hebrew literature.

The Center is located in the heart of Hebron on Ein Sarah Street (this section of the city is under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority). The Center has been host to myriads of people interning and volunteering with us, and who have traveled from many countries in the world to come to Hebron in order to share their skills, experience, knowledge, and cultures with Palestinian children and Hebron community members. Our volunteers and interns overwhelmingly have enjoyed their experience and recommend the experience to others who are thinking about volunteering and interning. The Palestinian Center is fully equipped with high-speed wireless internet, three classrooms, computers, and a big kitchen.

The Palestine Center’s website provides readers with a variety of articles, stories, pictures, and adventures and experiences awaiting the traveler to Palestine. The website is your ideal online platform from which to learn travel tips, cultural interaction, living and learning in Palestine.
