Wilson County Public Libraries

It is the mission of the Wilson County Public Libraries to provide access to social and cultural ideas by offering a wide variety of materials and programs for the educational, recreational, and informational needs of county residents. The Library has a special mission to encourage a love of reading and lifelong learning, as well as developing broad community awareness of our services. It is the needs of our community that will drive our services as we take a personal interest in ensuring that those needs are delivered in a safe, welcoming, convenient, and responsive manner.

The Sam Fore, Jr. Public Library will be a leader in the building and sustaining of a literate citizenry, transforming lives through knowledge and information in order to enhance Wilson County’s high quality of life. The library shall be committed to creating a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.
