Richmond Broadband Technology Opportunities Program

  • About Us

BTOP (Broadband Technology Opportunity Program) is part of the City of Richmond's Literacy for Every Adult Program. BTOP tutors help students with on-line lessons focused on digital literacy (at home, at work, and in the community), including orientation to career pathways. This is an exciting, innovative project geared towards improving computer and Internet literacy and eliminating the digital divide for Richmond residents. As a volunteer tutor, you can help improve someone's quality of life in this increasingly Web-oriented world.
