Garfield Prep is one of three globally recognized and celebrated Microsoft Schools in DCPS. We envision delivering a blended learning and inquiry-based instructional program which deliberately includes and values all students in order to meet their unique learning needs while developing their understanding and respect of difference. Our diverse group of educators, parents, and school partners work together to ensure we provide a welcoming, safe and equitable school community that is affirming and inclusive, so our students can strive for academic achievement and social-emotional growth, thus preparing them to thrive in an inclusive, global community and world.
