Travis County Tax Office

  • Mission

The Travis County Tax Office Voter Registration Division needs volunteers to register eligible voters. Registering voters is a non-partisan activity. Our goal is to register all eligible voters so they may exercise their duty and responsibility to vote. We can only do this with an army of trained Volunteer Deputy Registrars.

    About Us

State law requires volunteers must attend a one-hour training class before being sworn in to register voters in Travis County. The tax office's Voter Registration Division organizes events for registering voters throughout the county. Attend a one-hour Volunteer Deputy Training at 10:30 a.m. or 2:30 or 6:30 p.m., first Tuesday and 10 a.m. on the first Saturday of every month at the tax office, 5501 Airport Blvd. No reservation necessary. Just show up and after one-hour, you'll be qualified to register voters in Travis County.
