    • Mission

    Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Canine Program is currently seeking volunteers who can act as decoys to work with our teams and assist with canine training. The handlers search travelers and their belongings as they enter the security checkpoint and throughout the airport. Decoys will carry training aids to test Passenger Screening Canines and their handlers as they work to improve the canines ability to detect odors.

    Requirements: Must be 18 years old and complete a Consent Briefing and sign a SSI Non Disclosure Acknowledgement Form. Please advise of any possible allergens to Dogs, Cotton, Wool, Latex or Adhesive Strips. Please reach out to our contact Donna Nicholas to set up a K9 decoy session!
