City of Berkeley Recreation Division

With more than 52 parks, 3 remote resident camps, two aquatic centers, an adventure playground and nature center, five community centers, a skate park, sports fields, and a host of special events and program offerings, the Parks Recreation Waterfront Department offers a wide array of services for Berkeley residents.

The Recreation Division offers programs for all ages, and employs hundreds of staff that help our community thrive. Our programs emphasize diverse and equitable participation, and we offer hundreds of scholarships to residents annually.
