VISION STATEMENT:

Workforce Education’s vision is to provide excellent educational opportunities for under-resourced or unemployed adults by inspiring and empowering them with confidence, knowledge and skills for successful employment in an ever changing workforce.

MISSION:

1.            Provide support and resources necessary for Workforce Education students to complete training goals that enhance marketable skills and earning power.

2.            Link students to Bellevue College and community resources and services to support success in their educational and career goals.

3.            Build collaborative, respected, and innovative relationships with workforce development partners.

4.            Provide trained and competitive workers to strengthen and support economic development and local community needs.

PURPOSE:

Workforce Education provides assistance to under-resourced and/or unemployed adults through advising, coaching, and financial resources to support the credential and skill attainment necessary to effectively enter or re-enter the workforce.
