    The mission of City of Everett Administration is to strive for an efficient City government that:

    Makes the best use of limited resources to prudently manage the City's financial business, ensure effective delivery of basic services, work in partnership with the citizens of Everett and other governmental entities and, to the extent possible, address other community needs.

    Makes public safety a top priority and works to make people as safe and secure as possible in their homes and on their streets.

    Fosters and encourages economic development, including downtown revitalization, through effective and enhanced public safety, streamlined and sensible regulations, properly maintained and improved infrastructure, and a service-oriented, user-friendly approach toward the City's "customers" whether they be residents, permit applicants, concerned neighbors, young people or senior citizens.

    Works to make the City as livable as possible, by providing recreational and cultural opportunities for its residents, by ensuring good transportation within and around the City, by making residents feel safe in their homes and on their streets, and by partnering with other entities to create a climate that provides good wages and good jobs for skilled workers.

    Ensures that City procedures, policies, and financial practices are carried out in accordance with all codes, regulations, state laws, and other standards.
