Contra Costa Resource Conservation District
Mission
The Mission of the Contra Costa Resource Conservation District is to Facilitate Conservation and Stewardship of the Natural Resources in Contra Costa County.
About Us
California’s 95 non-regulatory Resource Conservation Districts (RCD’s) are as diverse as the California landscape, but all are dedicated to managing soil, water, and air in close coordination with the communities we serve. Contra Costa RCD’s current program areas are Agricultural Working Lands and Watershed Conservation. We work with local partners to creatively address challenges, including sea-level rise, wildland fires, trash and illegal dumping, and invasive plants.
