The Mission of the Congress of Neighborhoods Planning Committee is to produce an annual conference for Los Angeles Neighborhood Council leaders and stakeholders that assists attendees in better accomplishing their goals.
The Planning Committee is composed of individuals with a passion and dedication for the mission and activities of the Congress as described in this document. Membership is open to any stakeholder willing to commit to a one-year term of voluntary participation with the expectation that all members will actively participate in at least one standing subcommittee. Members may be stakeholders who are familiar with the Neighborhood Council system. Members are not required to be seated on a Neighborhood Council board.
You can expect a day focused on programming, networking, and community engagement, centered around crucial topics such as affordable housing, homelessness, public safety, and more.
