Independent Living Program - City of Jacksonville

  • About Us

The Independent Living Program mission is to help caregivers receive the needed respite to remain healthy while caring for aged loved one. Our volunteers, persons age 60 yrs and older offer companionship to homebound seniors who are under the constant care of a caregiver. For a few hours each week, the caregiver can take care of errands and the senior has peer companionship in their home
