Centennial Olympic Park

Centennial Olympic Park was created as a lasting legacy to the spirit of the 1996 Olympic Games. Its purpose is to provide a relaxing, inspiring, natural haven from the everyday pace of an active downtown city center. The Park is a vital tool to facilitate and promote downtown revitalization, to enhance the impressions of visitors to our city, and to provide a positive, family oriented urban destination for downtown workers, residents of metro Atlanta and the citizens of Georgia. It serves as a facility for special events, day to day activities and to further strengthen the image of Atlanta as an international tourist, convention and cultural destination.

Centennial Olympic Park is owned by the state of Georgia, operated by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, and represents an Olympic legacy to Georgia's residents. The 21-acre Park features engraved brick pathways, Fountain of Rings, pavilions, and an amphitheater.
