Children's Science Explorium
Mission
The Children's Science Explorium strives to inspire an appreciation and understanding of science by providing an environment and various programs that stimulate a child's natural curiosity.
About Us
The Children's Science Explorium is a hands-on science center designed for children ages 5 - 12. Volunteers maintain exhibits, present demonstrations to the audience, represent the facility at special events, and/or assist with summer science camp.
Volunteer opportunities exist year-round. All exhibits and teachings focus on physical sciences for elementary ages.
Year-round volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 30 hours of service over any period of time.
Summer camp counselors are required to sign up for a minimum of 2 weeks of camp from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. weekdays.
